Founded in 1999, DEX emerged as one of the pioneers of “designer concrete,” expanding what was possible in architecture and design. As demand grew, DEX invested in a state-of-the-art facility and broadened its portfolio of custom high performance concrete solutions to be offered in projects across the U.S. and internationally.
In 2021, DEX joined GATE Precast, which became part of Wells in 2024. Today, as part of Wells, DEX combines its specialty in high-performance concrete with one of the nation’s most experienced and innovative prefabricated building solutions providers. With a network of manufacturing facilities nationwide and the ability to deliver internationally, our reach has no boundaries—bringing advanced concrete systems to projects of every scale, wherever design demands.
While many imitation materials attempt to mimic the look of concrete, DEX delivers the original—engineered and crafted to reveal its full potential. Authentic concrete offers depth, durability, and integrity that no substitute can match. With the most extensive product and material line available in the industry, DEX offers concrete with vastly improved material characteristics over what has historically been available for use in architectural designs. DEX materials include high to ultra high-performance concrete (UHPC) systems and Terrazzo.
Atlanta is the transportation and distribution hub of the south allowing us to source most of our material locally. With our investments in equipment and technology, DEX can maximize production and meet schedules efficiently.
