UHPC Snow White
At the Aventura Mall, Louis Vuitton sought an iconic architectural presence for its flagship storefront—one of the largest in the U.S. Designed by Peter Marino Architect in collaboration with Atmosphere Design Group, the façade transforms the brand’s signature motif into sculptural relief, merging luxury and precision.
DEX fabricated ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) panels up to 4 ft. x 4 ft. At just 1.5 in. thick (3/4 in. panel + 3/4 in. pattern), these panels deliver exceptional thinness, strength, and resilience against Miami’s rigorous hurricane wind-load requirements. The pattern casts bold shadows, amplifying the sense of depth and dimension.
To maintain visual purity, the design extends diamond motifs beyond each seam line, overlapping the panels below. This ingenious technique conceals joints, creating the effect of a continuous, uninterrupted surface.
The overall result is a seamless interplay of light, texture, and movement that reflects Louis Vuitton’s enduring brand identity.
