The Registry on the Park

Formerly known as YOO on the Park, The Registry on the Park is a luxury residential tower adjacent to Piedmont Park and home to the Southeast’s largest green wall—earning its nickname, “the City in a Forest.”

DEX fabricated high-performance concrete elements for the lobby reception desk, amenity bar, and bath countertops. The bar’s custom botanical relief façade subtly mirrors the surrounding park, blending design with place-making.

The amenity bar’s façade is clad in a custom botanical relief pattern, cast directly into high-performance concrete. Each leaf motif is recessed into the surface with crisp, precise edges, giving the impression of foliage gently pressed into stone. When light grazes across the surface, the interplay of shadow and depth brings the design to life—subtly echoing Piedmont Park’s greenery just outside the windows. The relief not only provides a tactile quality that invites touch but also serves as a seamless continuation of the building’s natural surroundings.

Completed in 2017, this project is a “vintage” example of DEX’s work. Recent photos show how the resilience and timeless appeal of high-performance concrete allow these high-traffic surfaces to maintain their beauty and function years after installation—proof of durability in high-use residential environments.
