At Hilton’s flagship hotel in Tysons Corner—just minutes from the brand’s global headquarters—the architect reimagined the lobby and Hearth restaurant experience, and DEX assisted in bringing their vision to life with high performance concrete. The signature curved day-to-night bar anchors the space, designed to transition seamlessly from morning coffee service to evening cocktails. Its DEXterra terrazzo bartop, embedded with crushed wine bottles and polished to capture the glow of overhead glass tube lighting, creates a luminous focal point that shifts with the rhythm of the day.

DEX’s contributions extend throughout the lobby and restaurant, including the back bar, freestanding community dining tables, pizza oven counter, and a suspended server and display unit finished in DEXterra terrazzo with a natural stone back panel. Together, these high-performance terrazzo elements reflect Hilton’s modern hospitality brand while delivering the durability needed for a bustling flagship destination.
